Dev Polytechnic College is located in a rural pollution free and green habitat of Village Dheen at a distance of 28 Km. from Ambala and 22 km. from Yamunanagar.

Late Sh. Ram Iqbal Sharma
Founder Chairman SBS Group
Shri Ram Iqbal Sharma was born on April 22 1926 in Barki (Lahore) Pakistan to Shri Madhu Sudan Ji and Smt. Kundan Devi. He completed his matriculation from Lopoke and did his F.Sc & graduation from Lahore. At the beginning of his professional journey he failed as a shop owner but was later recruited in the British army. Having commenced as a junior clerk there he became a Storage In-charge within a short period of time. During the War in 1942 Bauji was selected as the Head Inspector Clerk. After a few years of service he quit his job due to the intolerable political scenario of that time. As a reward for his good work honesty and discipline during his stay in the army he was offered the post of a Patwari by the British government. However he refused it and instead joined the Teacher Training Programme at the Teacher Training Institute Lahore.
